The motor will be very fine on 4s, crazy on 6s.

The lipos.....I've got no idea, but I surley recommend the flightpower anytime.

magman 10.30.2008 06:35 PM

Scott, welcome! As for the batts...Flight power and Poly Quest have Enerland cells which are the best. If you can afford them, they are the best.

Another alternative are the Zippy li-po....http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...3&v=&sortlist=
Many members here use them w/good success.

Good luck!:yes::yes:

thanx for the help guys, i am going to wait for castle to bring out there esc and motor combo or the monster mamba and a medusa motor and will be going with the 2200kv motor, what batteries would be better to get 4s or 5s they will be around 4or 5000mah and what balancer would you use with the zippy packs, i will be using the hyperion eoso606i charger thanx again

BL_RV0 10.30.2008 11:40 PM

Some guys here will run the 1512 in their truggies, but most prefer the 1515 due to the x-tra weight of the truck

Personally, I'd get a 1515, and if you go with the 1512, don't get the 1y, too high KV.

i run the 1515 2.5d motor on 5s its way more then enough power:intello:

Most don't stay "nitroheads" very long once they get a taste of real BL power. :smile:
