Mamba Max and firmware version 1.20

Is it me or is the start up on the MM also improved due to the update like the MMM? My EMaxx starts up going forward every time now and slow speed is smooth. Excellent work by Patrick and the CC gang. Thanks!

IIRC they use the same "brians" chip...

I rechecked I think they might be different I think the MM uses an F320 and the MMM and F310 - But makes sense that the optimisation from one went into all.

This is the beauty of CC's design.

Aaaah. That makes sense. Thanks.

Man I did not even realize there was an update and neither did my Castle Link software. I just downloaded and installed the newest version and updated to firmware v1.20. Thanks for the heads up, I am all anxious to go give it a try now.

Just ran a pack with the new firmware update and it does start up smoother and the throttle control just seemed improved to me.

I just read the release notes and it says all the added alerts are for the Monster Mamba Max so I am curious if those added alerts and fixes mentioned in the release notes also apply to the Mamba Max?

I'll have to break out the Novak HV4.5 motor again and see how it does now. Had problems with it starting from a stop previously. The last time cc had a big firmware upgrade. It improved how the mm and a sensored motor worked together.

Just got back from running the EMaxx a good 20 - 30 minutes. Man, gotta love V 1.20.

Cool, I have my own chip...

SunnyHouTX 11.02.2008 05:07 PM

Is it a cow chip, brian?

DRIFT_BUGGY 11.02.2008 05:12 PM

Sweet, didn't think the MM would be smoother aswell

bdebde 11.02.2008 06:29 PM

I think it was good for all of them, just put 1.20 on my mamba micro pro.

I flashed 3 MM today and tested the rollback problem the MM has and it was still there. Will try the sensored motor next time.
