lol, its temporary. I ran it today and it was pretty bad... Maybe it was teh batts, but that thing was SLOW, im talking about max of 20 mph! I locked it in 2nd gear also. Im hoping to make the aljminum parts this weekend. Moswt likely i wont... It'll most likely stay like this for a LONG TIME! lol.

Sylvester 11.24.2005 05:53 PM

Umm, yeah its nice, but it has its "good" touch, ive never seen such a poorly yet amazingly detailed cutout of cardboard, how did you do it? lol im j/k, but im hoping you will have somthing better than that in a little while.....

Yeah, those cells probably aren't topnotch..!

You remember lesson one in BL righT!?

the setup is not stronger than the power the batteries can produce...

LOL, look Daniel, a paper version of your conversion!

:p It is lighter than aluminum though..

lol, it works! My gearing is a 72t with 15t pinion. Is that why its so slow? Ima try to really make it more REFINE, i made thsi in 10 minutes. I'll make a real nice one later one. like double layered cardboard. lol.

Im de-adonizing my old chasiss. There seems to be a BROWN water satain and it aint comming off....Dotn tell me im stuck iwth a silver/brown chassis.

Serum 11.24.2005 06:06 PM

I told you, because you use the cheapes battery packs you could find.. you are lucky if they can throw out a 350 watts..

"There seems to be a BROWN water satain and it aint comming off...." What a water satain?! Is there really such a thing? LOL sorry to be picking on you, im not positive if the gearing is the problem , 20mph in 2nd doesnt sound right, maybe your motor is junk? Double layered cardboard? That wil add WAY too much weight, might as well stick with 1 layered:p

It's a start, lad, it's a start. You already made some templates there. (altough I never thought about mounting them on the truc :L: ) The ESC mount is cute, made me smile.

Keep it up, nbc, definitely a step in the right direction. Could rattle off a headfull of jokes now, but I wont. Because, after all, I give you respect for doing it yourself.

You should invest in some batts.

Sylvester 11.24.2005 06:11 PM

And are you aware your tires are backwards? I dont think it will give too much more traction:p

nbcaznmaster 11.24.2005 06:12 PM

i meant water STAIN. looks really ugly, wish i never tried to de-andoized now.... I think its the charger. My charger has been acting wierd. ima charge them up tom and try again lol.

Serum 11.24.2005 06:25 PM

I too give you great respect for what you did with your truck mate!!

It takes some time to put things together, you know your place to get aluminium from Nbcaznmaster?

I doubt if you notice any difference with those tires mounted wrong sylvester..

Sylvester 11.24.2005 06:29 PM

yeah, thats what i thought too, i was thinking of maxx tires....

nbcaznmaster 11.24.2005 06:52 PM

i think the brown is oxidization.... HOw do i get rid of it?
