Airplane

Can this work on a truck. Excuse my ignorance but I ma not sure how it works. Does it work by measuring the varible wind speed above and below the wing?

Excerpt from http://www.omega.com/literature/tran...pressure.html:

Quote:

Differential pressure transducers often are used in flow measurement where they can measure the pressure differential across a venturi, orifice, or other type of primary element. The detected pressure differential is related to flowing velocity and therefore to volumetric flow.
He he, they said "orifice".

Thanks.

...now we wait for lincs comment... something about wind across an orifice...

It is just nice to know that an orifice is considered a primary element... I have always thought so myself.

Glad I could help!

I would also be interested to see if the item you linked to would work on the ground... I have a radar gun so I guess that I really do not need it...
