Neu 1512/2.5d/f in E-revo?
Would this motor be enough in an E-revo ? on 6s lipo ? Or do I need a 1515?
|
I run my revo on a 1512/2.5d/s on 5s lipo and its a great track motor. 6s on that motor might be a bit much IMO, nut with proper gearing yu could make it work. I would personally go for a 1512/3d or 3.5d if you want to run 6s as a steady diet.

2.5d would be a bit much on 6s as that is just over 45k, you'll find that 2.5d on 5s would be plenty of power

A 1515 will run a lot cooler!.. I run the 1512 in my bugies and 1515's, in my truggy, E-revo

I run a 1512 2d/f on 4s in my ERevo. It's a great setup for racing. I can run as long as I want with no fear of overheating. I ran a 30 minute main a few weeks ago and motor temps were in the 120's. It's geared for about 37-39mph.

hey im runing the Neu 1515/2.5d motor with a 16024 mgm controler and it runs at about 30 C is im runing hard in the grass for 20 min and im using two 8s a123 bats. so you really dont need to wery about over heating well atleast i dont. and if you where thinking about going 8s you never go more the 1/2 throtle on a track and its very hard to comtrole so i would stay away.
