c amps run

i was just looking at lipos in ebay and there are some cheap batts at 10C discharge. does anyone know the equation that relates C to Amperage?

a10c pack with 4000 mah would have 40 amps discharge, so the equation would be: C x AH

AH=1000 MAH, so C x 1/1000MAH
