I really wanted a 1850KV 1512  Maybe one will come out later :diablo:
I ran brad's 1512 2.d at the track today instead of my 1515 2.d and i honestly couldnt tell a difference really as far as power goes on the track, but i was getting alot better runtime a good 5mins longer on the 1512 over my 1515 and plus my protek lipos werent near as hot as they usally are so i was think a 3d would be even better over the 2.5 so i may have to order me a 1512 3d from teckno....... hmmmm so tempting.
i run a 1512 3d in my rc8 and it rips on 6s after about 20 mins motor is around 110 geared for 38mph (15/46)
yea my poor batteries like the 1512 ALOT better than my 1515 i gotta look and see if i can spare that much money right now. but i thinkt he 1512 3d would be perfect for my batteries and the perfect amount of power for the track on 5s.
I only just last week bought a new Hyperion charger, now I got to explain to the wife why I need more money for my buggy
ugh thats my delima i need another charger, i have too many lipos for one charger to keep up with at the track. i guess i can order it and then keep which one i like the most and then trade or sell the other for another charger and balancer........
hell i guess if i order this motor i can send my 1515 back to nue for bearings and not worry about finding some to do it myself, that sounds like a good plan guess ill be one of the first to try it out, ill let yall know when it gets here. |
Wonder if temps will be better at all due to the larger bearings.

yea 1512 3d on 5s, should be the same as my 1515 2.5d just alot easier on my batteries and a little better runtime. temps were better today with the 1512 all around compared to last weekend with my 1515
my mod1 mm never got over 95 (usually 120s) and lipos never over 103 (usually 115-120) and even the motor temps were better at only 140 compared to 150, but ill have to call it even because the bearings were going out in the 1515, making it get hotter than normal........ the outside temp was 70 today and 70 last weekend. |
Good. Now they need to come out with 1521s and 1527s, maybe make 153(?)s...
