Tried to run my brand new Monster V2 in my Revo Conversion.
Plugged in the Battery (5S) little Spark and..... nothing. No Light,no sound.
Measured the switch and it was ok. Then I diceded to open the Case and saw that. Look for the black wire!

Ok resoldered the wire and now it runs like a champ (Firmware1.2)

One item less to shipp from Germany to CC

Good thing that it was an easy fix that you could do yourself!

Looks like the switch must've been tugged on pretty hard during packing or something as that wouldn't get through quality control. Glad you got it fixed and running though.

No i dont think it was done by mechanikal stress. It was not soldered right.
It was a cold Solder joint.

Nice picture -- I can read the WO # off. So now I'll track down who soldered it, and who in QC passed it.

We'll find out who did it. :whip:

Uh oh! Someone's in for it! :oh: Let me know if a position opens up....

Dagger Thrasher 11.11.2008 07:53 PM

I wouldn't want to be either the solderer or the QC guy who did that...:oh:
