How much swelling is o.k.?
 

Recently bought 2 NEU 4S-4000 packs, charged them on Saturday for the first time, one pack started at 15V, the other started at 12V?

Both seemed to charge properly, looked at them on Sunday, and one of the packs is swelled? It is 40mm thick, the other is 34mm?

Will be calling Neu, but thought I would get opinions.

p.s. the swelled pack is now in a fire box until I determine what to do with it. Didn't even get to run it yet, less than 30 days old.

hmmm shoulda showed it to me saturday, is it all squishy to? doesnt sound very good. also was it warm at all comin off the charger?

Neither pack was hot/warm when it finished charging.

Also, both packs felt/appeared normal when they finished charging, so I was surprised on Sunday a.m. when one felt squishy. This is from the top to bottom, sides feel normal.

hmmm sounds like something went wrong, im sure neu will hook ya up, especially since the pack has not been run, oh and btw thanks for letin me come in 4th instead of 5th in truggy! ha

this happened to one of my Neu packs, i sent it back and i got the same pack returned with new unswelled shrink wrap, so thats what they said the problem was....
