Whats the max wire size for MM

What is the maximum wire size for the leads on a mamba max? they come with 13ga wire.. I have the stock wires from my new v3 MMM and want to put them on a friends Mamba Max.

12GA does fit (twist the wire tightly when tinning), but you have to be careful not to overheat the PCB getting the old out and putting the new in.

alright, guess thats a no go for 10g :D

You could probably get 10GA to work if you soldered bullets to the PCB and the wires to that. Or, thoroughly tin the wire and then dremel away the diameter in tiny increments until it just fits.

Ended up just adding onto the current wire, thanks though :D

Drill the holes on the PCB and put 10gauge on it, that's what i've did on mine and work fine:yes:

That is my old MM you're talking about right?

Yeah 12ga is no problem, but you need a darn good iron (and mad soldering skills) so you can do it without cooking other components off the board. I think someone else on here managed to get 10ga to fit. I think someone else also managed to destroy one because they got it too hot. I know when putting the 12ga on mine, it still had plenty of room, not sure if it was enough for 10ga though.
