The reason the windings suffer is because of the cherry wire used(the insulation coating melts at lower temps). If you rewind the motor with decent copper the next weakest point is the bearings, particularly the rear one in plastic housing. If it chews out the housing your up for custom parts which is the same price as a new motor:oh:
