Rc18

Ok so i picked an rc18 off ebay, its a roller and im planning on either using the MM i have, or picking up a micro-pro, suggestions here?

I am also wondering what my motor options are and what i should use for a battery, i was going to go after the truerc 2200mah 7.4 batttery, not looking for insane speed just yet, just a basher so mess around with.

mm esc would not overheat and would pretty much have no problems but it is on the big side for this truck. you can make it fit though.

as far as a motor goes... i have not really found much success in the castle motors... they overheat quite often. id go with a hyperion motor. mini neu if money doesnt matter.

IMO use a Mamba Micro Pro ESC and for a motor I agree not to go with a Mamba but a Hyperion yc-22 long or a neu 1105.....I have run a 18t with a 3s 1500 pack with a hyperion 4400kv motor...I have had thought of going to 4s someday

just a quick question guys (hopefully not jacking the thread), there is a 0.3 mm difference in the shafts of cc mamba motors (2.0 mm) and the neu 1105 motors (2.3 mm). if i have pinions for the cc motor will be hard fitting them to the neu motor shaft ? (i.e stretching the pinion hole from 2.0mm to 2.3mm) ??
