case question! shed some light on the subject.
ok i was running it today (ran great!) not a stutter. but managed to get grass and granite into the case! and poped it open to clean it out. and noticed that the case has no foam supporting the dc to dc coil and the fan plug. is this a new design or is this a goof up?
best regards |
It shouldn't need it...there's plenty of space for the fan plug/switch coil now, so there's now reason why they should come into contact. Maybe Castle do usually put foam in, anyway...I don't know. Just my thoughts.

The new V3 cases that CC sented me did'nt have any foam in them. But for a piece of mine I put a few thin piceses of foam in mine. From what I could see the Bec and fan plug could still come in contact with the bottom of the case. But it not sanwitch in like the V2 so you should be fine.

my V3 case didn't have the foam either, but just in case i was able to peel off the foam from my old V2 case and used it ....
