http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXWAH4&P=SM ($134.99)

I was wondering what price I should put on my ESCs and motors and Tamiya has just shown me the light lol.

Geeez! :surprised:

They must be so expensive because "they use the latest technology". Oh and because it says Tamiya on the package, and did I mention it looks A LOT like Novak's stuff???

Tamiya + Novak = Prices^100000000000000 power

I should come up with a fancy name as well and charge a bizillion for my stuf then .

You SHOULD create your own brand name, Lutach! Or is "LT" going to be it?

DRIFT_BUGGY 11.21.2008 11:50 PM

Because it is High Performance. Most of the Tamiya gear is expensive

BL_RV0 11.21.2008 11:54 PM

That tamiya esc looks like LT's 200a esc. Motors look like tekin or novak.

Doesn't come close. That looks very like the LRP TC Spec which is not even close to putting out as much power as my 200A.

I know it's nowhere near your 200a esc performance wise, all I was saying is that it looks sort of like it.

I was going to say they just look like LRP escs and motors with different labels- that pricing stinks. Maybe its just tower's intial prcing and they will be more reasonable once they have stock?

We do need to find a good brandname for Lutach though....

first thought was: 'Samba' , as he's a Brasileiro and his esc's seem to swing....
second thought is: sounds a lot like mamba....

lutach 11.22.2008 02:10 PM

Man, I wish I could Samba. Bad knees and hips does put a limit on things lol. I'll stick with LT for the models and I'll have something nice that will follow with that as well.

snellemin 11.22.2008 02:13 PM

Those are just rebadged LRP products. That 3.5 motor has the LRP/Associated front bell vented cover.

suicideneil 11.22.2008 04:38 PM

What about 'BombBasticProducts' ? Seeing as how you love the BombProof stuff ...
