Those look great for the price. The review looks promising as well.

you get what you pay for with servos......
They lack brass bushings in the top case for the other two gear shafts. That means that the upper case will wear out and then the gears will crap out. The towerpro 995 servos have this problem too, well documented.
You do get what you pay for... |
Having used the Tower Pro and other cheaper brand servos, I have giving up on these and have put the money into better quality JR and Hitec servos, it doesn't pay to lose races to save a few bucks.
I just search ebat for those JR/Spektrum Z570 metal gear servos and use them in a few of my cars, haven't had any dramas with them
by the video they dont really look that impressive, i have bought about 4 el-cheapos, they are all in the shite can now lol
well I contacted them and told them about rcmonster and this discussion.....I made an offer to buy two of them for $60 shipped and he accepted...also told him this would be a test to see how good these servos actually are
the good thing is hes selling them on the rc universe site and these servos are guaranteed and he don't need no bad ratings if he wants to keep selling as far as these being the same as the mg996r ..I don't think so because the wirering is different....note that the receiver wire comes out the bottom of the case on the PPP and on the mg it comes out the top $30 each worth a try......you can all have a laugh if they go belly up |
