What should i get and were to get it

What i need:

-aluminum shocks all around my rustler. Witch shocks would be best? Any color options?
-70/72MM turnbuckles. What are some good ones that won't get striped out of the ends?
-RPM rod ends. Witch pair? perferably black

Couple of things i'd like:
-good waterproof servo
-waterproof 2CH reciever that'll run with my traxxas reciever crystal

Can i buy this all togather at one place? I'll see if my LHS has it all but i dought thay'll have all of it. And the waterproofing would be great for the snow and being able to run it when it's wet outside.

Alot of guys say that the traxxas big bores are pretty good, but im still running stocks on mine, although I run rears all around(custom mounted to an aluminum front shock tower)

i've still got the stock shockes in the front right now. i just refilled them with oil becouse thay leaked all of it. I'm running the origanal DTX evader shocks in the rear. but thay are really weird, one shock will go all the way up and the other want(checked and their the exact same with nothing in them other than oil) and thay leak a little as well.

the shock that wont go all the way up probably just has too much oil in it. Try draining a tiny bit of oil out of it.

Get a slash rx box to put your receiver in. It's waterproof. I haven't heard of any waterproof RXs so I think thats ur only choice is a waterproof box. As for a waterproof servo get one of the Traxxas servos for a E-REVO, 125oz/in is plenty for a rustler!

e-rev project 11.24.2008 10:50 PM

is the e revo servo really 125 oz, what i see is 2 servos that make 125 oz torque from the traxxas site.http://www.traxxas.com/products/elec...5_features.htm
ebay however, says the water proof servo is 80 oz.

E-Revonut 11.24.2008 10:53 PM

I'm pretty sure that the 2075 is 125oz/in each but I may be wrong, either way I'm sure that one of them is more than capable of handling the duties in a Rustler!

dirt101 11.24.2008 11:04 PM

yeah the 2075 has 125oz and the 2055 has 80 oz. the 2075 is much better, but even the 2055 is good enough for a 4lb truck.
