Mamba Max and motor shopping for crt .5
 

I am looking for a used mamba max. They seem to go really fast on here. I need a mamba max for my crt .5. I will probably be running 3s.(lipos anyone?) I will probably want the MM before the motor, but for a motor I was thinking a medusa/neu quality infunner ~3500kv or an inrunner ~36mm dia ~1500kv. Please shoot me a pm if you have any of the things above that you are looking to get rid of.

I have a hyperion 3s 4250 lipo that is about 10months old, not much use. Pm me if interested. I do not have a MM for sale, but do have a MGM 80amp esc that would be good for a crt.5... As for a motor, I do not have anything other than a lehner 5300 and a medusa v2 60mm 1600kv...

I think I have a deal for the esc. I hope it goes through. The motor will be the next thing I tackle.

For tires on this kit I am thinking prolone gladiators m3 compound for bashing around on the street and gravel/Dirt. Anyone have any other thoughts?

i think the m3 is the softer compound, you may want to go with the m2 if you're just bashing. They should last longer.

yea, if id stick with m2 just for bashing m3 wear pretty fast on pavement, btw sent you a pm if the slash and setup isnt for sure sold (gotta make sure with the guy today) then ill sell you the MM w/ cc bec, 9L with new bearings and rcm clamp, and a 3s 5000 maxamps pack all less than half what they cost AND ill GIVE you a set of (4) brand new 12mm hex traxxas dish wheels (electric front offset) and a brand new pair of gladiator M2 tires, so youll only need one pair of tires to finish the set.......... ill let you know this afternoon.

I just sent 85 dollars for a mamba max, hardly used. I am down to zero in paypal... When i sell my reccoil and Vendetta I should have enough to finish off this project. I'll probably get 250-300 for it all. If anyone is interested in a recoil pro roller or a brushless vendetta pm me.

$85 for a MM is a good deal. They go really fast because nobody wants to sell theirs and everyone wants one! If you can get Linc's motor that'll be pretty insane. Most people run a 50mm sized motor in theirs and it goes quite well.

I'm thinking of running an outrunner. Does anyone know if this will work well on 3s?
