NEU Motors

Hi there!
What size screws (thread size & length) are needed to mount NEU motors to Mike's motor mounts?

Thanks
Simon

Use 3x10mm cap head machine screws, m3 thread.

Thanks

Just make sure the threads don't hit the copper windings; the Neu motors have got their windings sitting rather deep from the front; you can easily check with a tooth-pick how deep the holes are.

Yeah, I wouldn't run a screw longer than 10mm, as a rule of thumb.

Cheers guys, it's good they aren't imperial (cos that would be a pain - I've only got metric tools)

I use it on all three of my Neu motors.

Are those 4 little holes for other motors than Neu? Do you screw it to the neu motor and then put it on the motor mount or just place the two together and only use 2 screws which hold all 3 together?

They work for lehner motors as well, so that mounting holes are deeper. Lehners are very shallow.

I believe you screw the cover to the cover to the motor (with counter sunk screws, then the other 2 holes are for mounting it & motor to the motor mount. I believe...
