Bl-stup fore hbx mt ?

Hi i'd like to convert an hbx crosstiger truck into bl
What size motor would be good ? It's a lite 4wd mt in 1/10 scale and it's powered by an 550motor stock.
I have a good 5300 mah lipopack and 2st 3s1p a123 a cc-mm esc.

I know this is a cheap truck so no coments about that ok ! :)

hbx bonzer cross tiger

hi , these are a cheap truck but a very good basher i have had one for a couple of years now , they are copy of the tamiya tl01 chassie , the gearing on these trucks are very high , lots of guys i know have burnt up motors in these truck,s so brushless is your best bet , only problem is the pinion the motors that use there pinion size are 3 mm and most good brushless motors are 5 mm , i heard the guy that owns this site makes a bore reducer , not sure ,but you would need this in order to install a good brushless system .. may be the other guys on here have a link or info on this bore reducer , my bonzer has had it electronics taken out and replaced with better grade esc servo and receiver, but i was also thinking about brushless the sock motor is a 560 , low has lots of torque but not much rpm i think its around 11,000. so not very fast to say the least .here are some pics of the bonzer you can see i have installed bigger monster truck wheels ...

yes the feigo is perfect for the bonzer , in my last post i stated a reducer was needed for the pinion this is not right the pinion actually need drilling out i got things round the wrong way , 3mm centre hole on the pinion needs opening up to 5mm for the brushless motor . plz see video ...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7nNej1Towc

i also found that installing , the bigger wider monster truck wheels made the truck more stable , increasing the wheel base , and it was less prone to flipping here is my bonzer just messing in the back yard , stock 560 motor , running 8 cells .i didnt have much room to run her hence my can when over .lol.....http://i406.photobucket.com/albums/p...h_CRMV0176.jpg

hi thanks , these wheels were taken from a toy truck named newbright , good quality rubber tiers and rims for being on a toy , so i took them of and adapted them to fit the bonzer . using the bonzer rims as the adaptor . it works well . and gives the truck a more grond clearance and a wider stance . its the wider stance that makes the truck more stable , thanks :mdr:
