selling emaxx for buggy
new to the buggies. i had an emaxx i started out with for a year now and getting sick of it. i have a friend locally that just got one and now i am hooked. plus i just found a race track right down the street. looking at a few different ones to convert to brushless. Ofna 8 Hyper, Ofna Hyper 8 Pro 8.5, 8.5 pro, Losi Eight and another 8 Hyper Main.
not sure the differences in all of these are but i would assume the higher number means the newer the model. anyone have any advice on either of these? i understand all i will need to convert is a motor mount from Mike and a battery tray from Losi or Mike. is this correct? what kinda speed/torque can i expect with a MMM and Fiego 8XL???? |

Out of all the buggys you have listed, in my opinion the losi 8B is the best . I ran my jammin buggy on 4s & a 9xl it was more than enough speed & power . The 8XL will be slightly faster . But it may have heat issues & a little less runtime depending on your gearing. This is a rough idea of what you can expect using a 8XL on 4s. If your going to use a feigo the 9XL would be a better choice . I got a solid 15 min on mine before the lvc tripped . well whats your thoughts on a Mugen MBX5R for 160 shipped? no tires, no body. but with with KHZ arm mounts front and rear. "with the lighten Mugen 5R chasis, these are real 5R's and not converted from prospec"
this is from his add. |

whats the differance in the Hyper 8 or 8.5's and a Mugen MBX5R? as i stated, this is my first buggy and i dont know the differance..

I dont know the exact difference between the two ofna buggys . But i do know the mugen is a kick ass buggy . the parts support for the mugen is probably better nation wide versus the ofna . but the ofna are good buggy's. You can go here to see the difference between the two ofna buggy's. i think the ofna
s are good buggy's . But in the nitro world ofna's name does'nt seem to be as well liked as others. http://ofna.com/ |
