My new toy!!!

Well here is my latest purchase. A Venom GPV-1. I used to have a Kyosho HOR but it broke so often and parts were kind of hard to come by so i sold it a while ago. But since then i have missed RC motorcyles and am very happy that Venom has decided to make one. I cannot believe how nice these are, very well made and it drives incredibly easy. Too bad it's snowing otherwise i would be driving again today. I don't think it will be too long before i put a Mamba brushless system in it or something equivilent. Any other RC motorcyle fans out there?

Looks awesome, does it use 1/10th or 1/18th scale power system

It uses 1/18th motors. I will probably be looking to go with the Mamba system or the Novak Mongoose system, not sure which one yet.

no prob.. its about a 10 min. drive for me , it would be cool to get together and run these like in a school parking lot or something

or if enough get them race these things , but may be hard to race one that cant keep the front wheel on the ground:wink:

Sweet! I haven't really looked too far into it, but I like the idea of an RC motor cycle. How much for the Venom one? What others are good?

Mike_D 12.07.2008 07:27 PM

This is the cheapest place to get them.

Kyosho makes RC motorcyles and Thunder Tiger does as well. The Kyosho ones are fun but very outdated and sometimes difficult to get parts for. And the Tunder Tiger bikes are nitro i think...

Tell her you need to buy it now because all the upgrades you'll want will take three months to buy and install!!! As far as snowmobiles i have been looking at getting one of these. The description says that they have 540 motors and 24 inches seems like a decent size.

24" snowmobile, thats big, that could be the winter project right there, buggy shocks fire up the drill press in 12 degree weather in the garage and have some fun. Thanks man
