RC8b diff fluid

I have a factory team rc8 buggy with stock diff fluid and was wondering if i need to put thicker fluid in the diffs, i will be running 5 or 6s.

yah the stock stuff is ment for nitro engines. not for brushless. i might be able to get away with the front and rear but the center your going to need to put some new stuff in it.

i ran 5-5-5 which is what the nitro guys run. i tried going up and it made the buggy a handful to drive

I think it depends on what you're used to driving. I started with electrics, and had a few nitros afterward, but I still had the electric throttle finger. I run 30,000 weight oil in the center, and it feels good. DickyT has even thicker oil in the center as far as I know. It just depends what you're used to. As for the front and back, I have 7000 in the front, and 5000 in the back.
