D8 gearing
 

Hi which pinion and spur should i get for my D8?
neu motor 1512 1.5d +mmmv3 on maxamps 6500 2x7.4v
i want to get kyosho spur to.
should i change the motor or should i go 3s or keep the 4s setup?not to get to hot in 20 minutes run.
i got rcm motor mount fro lightning stadium pro to it.
need the gearing help here.for all around indor and outdoor.

if the 1512 1.5d is to fast how will be the 2d?

go with the 1512 2.5d if you wanna get close to getting 20 mintues of runtime.

i think the 2d might be a little fast and the 1.5d will be WAY too fast.

so how about the castle 2650kv

thats basically a 2d.... both would work but youd get better runtime on the 2100 kv motor compared to a 2700kv ..... on runs about 40,000 and one about 30,000 and the slower motor should give ya better runtime to a point.....

so the lighting pro mount will work in the d8??

i ran the new castle system today 2200kv one. on the losi 4 cell and it was great 4 packs today no problems yet and hopefully none..

i just putting it together and i will need to get a center top plate or to make one .what a car it will be .hope
i am looking for the 2650kv
