E Revo fire

Guess running the unwaterproof ESC in the snow is not a good thing.... It went up in flames and red smoke everywhere. My own fault.... I found out how hot melting plastic gets when it is on fire..... At least I saved the truck and lipos/motor. Should of had it on video. Should of also kept the stock waterproof esc for winter running.... Should of could of would of...

Probably was due to water, but could be just a coincidence...

At least you saved the truck and motor! I am v/hesitant to run in the snow for the reason of losing all the $ invested in each vehicle. Although, if you plan for the snow and take precautions....

I'm not sure why yours fried...I run mine through the snow all the time and have even had my Rustler go submarine a few times and it never failed me.
