ok!
But can they be covered with snow that later melts ? without problems ? |
Not advisable. If you are going to run in the snow wrap the electronics in saran wrap. heat will not be a factor if the air temp is cool enough to keep snow on the ground.

I have ran my Sidewinder in snow, However as soon as I am finshed I blow all the snow off so it can't melt

Your craking me up! Don't you live in Florida? Last year I was up to my ass in snow and you were outside in your shorts making videos. Yeah, I was a little envous. I'm gonna have to find a way to mail you some snow this year. Just poking some fun at you DickyT. :na: I know you guys have snow in the form of rain down there... We're suppose to get hit with the first snow storm of the year this weekend. With the high temp being around 10 F. Even though the MM is protected I still wrap the willie when I am out playing in it like DickyT said. If you've done any soldering like hardwiring the on/off switch to the mm board it no longer has the protection Tom refered to. |

http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r...y/DVC00001.jpg My MM has been fine so far, I did have a problem where it wasn't working with anything but a CC motor and they sent me a new one and I have already run the new one in buried in snow. Not recommended but it will work. |
Unsullied, where abouts in Montana area you?

I don't make it that far east when I go over for work once in a while. Kalispel is one place and have another on the mountain (Gold Creek) by Garrison Junction. On one of your trips over here if you think you might have some free time. Let me know I will meet up with you somewhere.
