gear ratio ?

i kinda asked in the savage forum already but thought this would get more attention. Is a 10.22 gear reduction to low for a brushless motor? Do the lower kv motors make more torque? could i just use a lower kv motor to compensate for the high gearing.

we need to know what motor, what battery, what transmission, what diffs and what the desired speed is

Torque is a function of current and kv. torque (in ft-lb) = (1352/kv*amps)/192

i dont have a motor yet it is a savage with a center diff (46 tooth), cen diffs, which the ratio is 2.89. They are polyquest 5s 5000 batteries. As for the speed around 40 would be nice.
