Internal Graphics?
 

I found some internal graphics made by xxxmain.

I decided to give them a try.

I think the results are pretty nice;

Anyone else try these?

I prefer Jackal ones as they are not stickers but blend with the paint. I dont like that xxxmanin ones are not precut and with my shaking hands takes ages to cut them right.

I had never seen them before. I just looked them up tho. pretty neat stuff!

Precut or not those look pretty cool in comparison to a lot of other places out there. I like the selection he has, and hope that he does some expanding with more items. Nice stuff. Your truck looks very nice. Good clean application from what one can tell. Nice work.

I like them. About how long did it take you/how hard was it to cut them?

If you get close enough to the truck you can see blemishes here and there...but not nearly as bad as some of my older bodies! :lol:
I will definatly use these again.

It wasnt very hard for me to cut them. But it is time consuming. I used an x-acto knife and took my time. I think the truck graphics took me about 1/2 hour to cut out. The buggy one had more detail, so I think that one took maybe 45 minutes to an hour.:neutral: I kind of expected it....anytime I paint, most of the work goes into the prep. I do recommend using windex to get them placed correctly. If you have ever tinted windows (or seen it done) then thats kinda the method to use. You spray the body and the sticker with windex before putting it on....this will allow you to move it around a bit and make it easier to get air bubbles out. Once it dries it isnt goin anywhere. If you use this method tho, give it 24 hours to dry. I painted one body too soon and getting the masking off proved to be way more difficult....it seemed to want to pull the stickers off easier then the one that dried over night.

Man! I really could have used this suggestion last week when painting my Blizzard. I tried really hard, but ended up doing a really crappy job with the stickers. I will definitely remember the windex trick for next time.

Yeah hoov, thanks for bringing up the windex trick. That was one of the best tips I have ever used. It really saves you a lot of trouble for external and internal graphics. Your rigs look great! Nice work! It does help if the bodies aren't too curved as well so they don't have corners and things like that to go over. Again, great work!

yeah, the windex trick comes in handy, but you are correct...it helps to have less curves on the body. I had a few "trouble" spots where the sticker kept peeling up on a hard curve. I found that in my case, once I had a majority of the sticker placed, if I had a hard curve towards the edge of a decal, I could peel it up, dab the windex off and place it back down to get it to stick around the curve better.
