Something for the mods (and Mike) to consider.
 

The Jato forum doesn't get a whole lot of threads put into it. Since the exodus from that little island to the south of us. There's been more threads about some other 10th scale rcs. Maybe we could rename the Jato to Jato, Rustler, Pede, Slash, or something similar so there is a place that those traxxas RC and/or non traxxas threads can have a home.

Maybe something more generic?

My proposal was not to create another Traxxas forum or a thread just for traxxas rc like the emaxx and revo already have. Plus there already is one called traxxas.com. Without creating more work for anyone but allowing us to use the Jato thread for other 1/10 scale trucks would help me figure where to post the slash I just built. BrianG has his slash in the brushless forum. But it makes sense for his due to he's upgrading it to handle brushless POWER. It can't do the Tim Allen impression in person and apparently can't type it either.

The Slayer will go in the Revo section, the DST will go in the mini truggy, the Jato will go in the Jato. The other are lost boys. To me it makes sense to have a forum for the HPI Hellfires, RC10, XXX_NT, MT2 etc etc etc. section for them. There been like 12 threads created in the Jato forum over the last year. Make that 13.... I'll be right back.....

The last thing I would ask for is another traxxas forum. I csuppose I can post my slash slap together in brushless forum. It just that BrianG is in there and he's gonna make fun of my fan.

Hey you guys don't go polluting up a great idea thread. Just look at what the hell your turning it into. For the love of Pete, man! Get real! Cooleo and Neil modding. The odds of Cheech and Chong reuniting are better then those odds. Now if your RCs already fit into one of the estiblished rcm support forums. Then it's time you go out and get a different one.

I'm all for that, Neil and Cooleo together under the xmas tree with laptops moderating the forum :rofl::rofl::rofl:.

Yeah, some forums don't see much traffic. Although, it would be tedious to weed through existing forums and move threads as necessary. Would be much easier to do it a certain way from the start.

Great idea. Let's start it a certain way. I'd be happy to help out in anyway, searching out threads n providing links or what ever.

I think having a more specific Traxxas-based trucks section could be beneficial.

Keep the Revo section ALL Revo.

Have a Maxx Section (NOT E/T Maxx parts ???)supporting all Maxx-based MT trucks of course. That would be a little bit of a change.

And then to go along with Gee's suggestion, maybe a Rustler/Jato, Stampede/Bandit section (or 2 wheel drive traxxas trucks hangout) OR maybe a 2 wheel drive section being just Traxxas or not.

I have no opinion on KnowItAllNeil :wink: or CooleOCooleOCooleODrool :no: becoming RCMMods.
