Very dissapointed in tekins CS
they got my R1 pro in last monday for repair, no call, or email that they got it. so I call them on tuesday Ty says "that its going to be checked by the techs today or tomarow" no problem with that. no emails or calls (he said he would) so I call back on friday, "it needs to be replaced because it can't be fixed." I opted to get a referbished RS pro instaiid of a new/referb R1. my specifc instructions were to ship it express mail, because priority is taking longer than usual due to the holidays. "it should go out on monday" I call back on tuesday, "it will be shipped tonight" wed "it will ship out on thursday" friday "I don't know if it shiped, sherri isn't in and she takes care of shipping"
BTW, Express mail is a gurantyed 2 day shipping. I understand your frustration....I have ordered things, paid for overnight shipping for items that I have needed in 2 days and had it show up 4 days later. I am not bashing Tekin here, just saying that companies often don't pay attention to details like that, which they should. For if they would, customers would come back to purchase more from them.

Did you pay for the express shipping or just ask them to ship it out express? If you paid than that is pretty messed up. If someone tells you that it will "ship today" than it should go out that day. If you didn't pay than I would cut them a little slack it sucks you missed a race but at least your ESC is getting replaced and you're not paying for another one. When I send stuff in to Novak I don't know anything that is going on with it no emails or calls I just get a package on my door a couple weeks after I send it in.

Same thing happened to me once with a defective R1 Pro. They missed an important ship date and I missed a competition. There is definitely a gap somewhere between customer service and shipping. Hopefully they will correct it.
Tekin came through and upgraded my ESC to an RS Pro for free and I was more than pleased about that :). Just talk to them and I'm sure they'll do their best so you are satisfied. |
