Cheap LiPo alarm
 

Hi everybody,
I'm wondering whether this cheap LiPo alarm could be soldered directly to my ESC?

As the cutoff on my VXL ESC isn't all that good, so I wanted to use something cheap. I know it comes with a plug to solder the leads to, which you plug into the battery, but could I just solder it directly to my ESC power wires? As I would have thought it would keep the same voltage?

Yes or just use the balance plug on lipo... which is what that extra connector is for...

I think I'll stick to soldering it to the ESC, as knowing my luck I would solder it up to the balancer plug backwards.
