Gearing Suggestions? E-Revo Brushless Edition
 

I have an E-Revo Brushless Edition on pre-order, and it comes stock with the Castle MMM 2200kv combo. The stock gearing direct from Traxxas is 65/18. I am looking to order a couple other variations for the spur and pinion just to have on in hand....just in case. Let's say two of each. Please understand, I am not an "RC Newb", just a "Brushless Newb". Any suggestions? Thanks! And this isn't a "What am best gears?" thread either as Neil might refer to it as!:rofl:

I would say a 20 and 24tooth pinion would be good, along with a 62 and 68 tooth spur; that should be ideal to give you a broad range of adjustment for anything around the 30-50mph region, on 4-6s lipo (I think the BL Erevo comes with some optional gears as standard, not sure which ones exactly though). :smile:

Cool, thanks Neil! Just funning with ya! Yeah, I think it comes with some extra gears, but I am not sure either what is included. I will be running 4s for the most part, as I think it will do what I want it to quite well.
