Torn between TC4 & Sprint 2 Sport

I have been wanting a 1/10 scale touring car for some time. Instead i bought a crt.5 and it has been sitting since i bought it and i have never run it. I keep thinking about a touring car.
So i have been looking and the two that seem to be the most popular are the TC4 and one of the HPI's. I see there are 2 different HPI's, one is drift and one is sport, both look identical but the sport is a little less.
there is a local track that i could go to and maybe start racing some day, but mostly i will use if for bashing around the streets and parking lots.
So is one better than the other? Is one more durable? I am pretty sure my LHS has parts on hand for both. I have heard that the TC4 is the best over all for handling but not sure about durability. Since i will be using it on the street durability is going to be a factor.
I think i want a RTR as well because i just want to use it and upgrade later or as i break parts.
Any input you guys have would help.

Thanks

Also if anyone wants a crt.5 pro kit that has just been assembled i have one for sale. I did modify one of the CF braces to make a bigger servo fit and paint the body but everything else is still in the package. I never put any electronics on it or even mounted a motor in it. i will start a thread and post pics soon.

I dont think the spring 2 will be much better. I personally think HPI should have avoided the TC industry completely because what they make isnt technically a TC. In my opinion its a wannabee radio shack shelf queen.:whip:

Oh, so what is a good option? Any recomendations that people have used? i saw the thread about the drifter but i want something that can bash and some track use as well. I guess i am open for ideas.

I really want a touring car. I have my crt.5 but i dont have the drive to finish it. I have a revo for off road and major bashing but i wanted a touring car for speed and on-road performance. I was thinking of making the crt.5 a on road machine but i think i would like a touring car better. I will look into the xxx-s as well and maybe just stop by the LHS and see what they recommend.
any one have any first had experience with ANY 4wd 1/10th on-road touring car? good or bad.

I run a tc4 as a parking lot basher\drifter and like the car alot. If you are running prepped surfaces you may want to look into belt drive cars. The HB cyclone, AE tc5, tamiya ta05, serpent s400 are ones I'm familiar wit and are all nice cars. If general road and parking lot bashing a shaft drive car is less fuss.

i like my tc4 as well.
I have used it as a TC and a drifter.
Its a very simple yet effective design. Parts support doesnt hurt, they are everywhere.
