The Upgraded V2's come with bullets, the "real" v-3's come with wires

combo or just the esc? The combo has a longer motor wire with the male bullets already attached. If it's just the esc that you have coming they come with 3 wires about 6" long that have the 6.5mm male bullets attached to one end and the other is bare, either solder directly to your motor or use another set of bullets(not included)

My monster came with 6.5mm on motor wires now the battery wires I soldered on 6.5 can't remember if it had a connector.

yes it is just the esc.and i guest it does not come with the battery wires right?
and what gauge wire is that?

suicideneil 01.02.2009 07:58 PM

It does come with battery wires- either another pair of 10gauge (to answer your other question) wires with 6.5mm bullets on one end and bare at the other, or the wires directly soldered to the esc (with bullets on the tips I think).

I wouldnt worry too much, you'll soon see how many connectors and what type you need/want for your setup once the esc arrives.

For the esc only, you will get the following:

5 10 ga wires (2 red, 2 black, 1 white)
2 5mm caphead screws (for mounting motor to motor mount)
1 set of 6.5mm bullet connectors (3 ales, 3 females)
DVD
CC Link
Instruction book

None of the connectors were soldered on mine. I have to solder them myself.
