just wanted to know what true rc battery's should i use in my losi 8 buggy?
and will be usings the new monster mamba esc,and a medusa 36-60-2000 motor.last time i was useing a 4s 14.8 4000mah true rc battery and a 8xl motor and burn up one if the packs.i was told that i was using the wrong pack.it only had 10 to 15c rating, and was told that it was not high enough.

I've ran TrueRc 2s 6400mah 15c lipos in my RCs and haven't had any issues with them. There are other rcm member that know more about this then me. I would guess 15c would be the very minimum to run so grab some 20 or higher if you can. 35000rpm use to be the number to shoot for on the motor. It will get you in the ballpark so if you take 35000rpm/2000kv it comes up with 17.5 volts. Same way if you wanted to know what motor to use and you are going to be using a 4s lipo you would take 35000/14.8= 2364kv for the motor.

personally, I would run 25c rated batteries or higher. Don't skimp on your batts....they will not last if you do. Mike sells some very good batts. here

Yeah, just like I said 25c or higher.
