As long as you have the new center diff and the front and rear truggy diff ratios, it should work fine.

What do you mean by front and rear truggy diff ratios???

Chris, truggy uses 43/10 diffs while buggies use 43/13. You need to open up your diffs and count the pinion teeth.

The difference in the pinion teeth is for the different size tires. Basically, it changes the gear ratio for each application.

Well isn't my X1 crt a truggy..... so it should be all set right??? Will it matter I'm using the X1 center diff with the 62 tooth spur???

skellyo 01.03.2009 11:44 PM

The X1 CRT actually has 13:43 diffs, not 10:43. That's why the stock spur is a 62T versus something smaller.

sweetride4me 01.03.2009 11:54 PM

So that shouldn't matter then right??? since it's geared accordingly..... also if I buy the kit which version do I buy the 36mm or 44mm I'll be running the castle 2200kv monster combo...

thanks for all the help everyone :mdr:

Unfortunately, your truggy has a 43/13 diff:

From the parts listing on page 29:

40516 STEEL SMALL BEVEL GEAR 13T 14.95
40517 STEEL BEVEL GEAR 43T 38.95

Link for the manual:

Edit- skellyo beat me to it.

You'll eed the 44mm. And yes, you can gear it accordingly.
