Indoor crawling course @ HobbytownUSA-Harrisburg, PA!!
Just wanted to let everyone know that we will be constructing an indoor crawling course where our slot track currently resides! I've wanted to make this announcement for awhile, but I wanted to make sure that it was going to happen. Now that the owner has announced it on our website, and gave me the green light to start buying supplies, I figure it's time. It should be about 8' x 25' in size with a small pit area at one end. I want to do a bridge crossing and have a giant mountain as a centerpiece. I hope to have it underway soon. I also finally convinced the owner that crawling is the wave of the future in RC and we'll start carrying Axial, Tamiya, Losi, etc. Stop in to check out the progress. The slot car track is going to start it's demise tomorrow!! Whoo hoo!!!!:party:

I made some killer changes to the course and it is awesome now! Lots of good lines and sidehilling action! A comp schedule is in the works.....

Pretty cool, man! Are you going to leave the surface bare like that? How's that traction on the bare FG?
|
The traction is great. Like sandpaper! I've seen guys climb near vertical parts of the course. Turned out really nice. Helps to have memory foams and M3's or G8 compound tires.
