Best Mini BL system?

Just bought a Mini LST, comes with dual 370 motors..

Was thinking about the Mamba Comp "X" 8000, suggestions?

would this BL motor have enough torque to run the 4wd 1/18 truck?

Thanks.

nope, no on the mini-lst, but for 1/18th scale staduiums it can. Maybe u can put 2 of them on the lst, though castle crations says its a bad idea. too high of a kv and not enough torque for teh wiehgt.

AON 4900, Hyperion 5000 or 6000 seem to be best for the Mini LST. All use the Mamba 25 ESC. I got a Hyperion 5000 and use it with 2s lipo and it hauls! 5-6mph over stock and gobs more torque. Super smooth, and more fun than stock. I've heard 3s lipo really opens it up. 6000 version is supposed to be even more powerful, but haven't heard/read a review of that one yet, except that t broke the pinion gears before it could be fully tested!

hmmm - why not the 6800 mamba?

Didn't Losi TEST the thing with the 8000 mamba tho???

In the BL forum here a couple of weeks ago I posted a question about the Hyperion 5000 or 6000. Someone posted the reults of a BL test in the mini LST. A guy tested all the different motors and thought the mamba 6800 didn't have enough torque to move it thru obstacles and such. Do a search and you should be able to find it.

I posted the results of that a few weeks ago. IF you already have a 6800 I would just put it in and try it out. Based on the testing from b-p-p the hyperion 5000 and 6000 seemed to be your best choices. For more info on the mini lst and setups a good site to check out would be one18th.com
