The 8IGHT-T 2.0 Race Roller is built on an extended-length Tuned Flex Technology (TFT) 2.0 chassis (14mm longer) which offers added stability and handling across all track conditions. This increased stability gives the 8IGHT-T 2.0 Race Roller the ability to carry more speed into and out of corners, and to glide across washboard sections with ease. Tuned Flex Technology also provides significant handling gains by responding precisely to changes in terrain without sacrificing balance and grip.

The 8IGHT-T 2.0 Race Roller includes updated steering geometry which features a servo saver with increased consistency. Additional gains in steering precision were made by incorporating a pressed-steel bushing in the Ackerman brace, which reduces friction over the entire range of motion. With the increased horsepower demands of 1/8-scale truggy racing, Team Losi Racing reengineered the dogbones and outdrives of the 8IGHT-T 2.0 Race Roller to stand up to the abuse associated with serious off-road competition.

For balanced braking, Team Losi Racing designed 30mm front and 33mm rear heavy-duty brake discs that greatly improve brake feel and cooling. The heavy-duty design and construction ensures that you can accelerate further into corners before having to brake, allowing for faster lap times and quicker exits from the corner.

The alloy shock towers on the 8IGHT-T 2.0 Race Roller have been strengthened and lightened for better on-track performance without sacrificing handling or strength. The suspension on the 8IGHT-T 2.0 Race Roller features numerous shock mounting locations for several options in adjusting the suspension setup. The front carrier also features two camber link positions while the rear has four, allowing for even greater customization to varying track conditions. The updated suspension includes the use of 15mm longer front shocks and 20mm longer rear shocks, extending the amount of suspension travel for increased handling capabilities on even the roughest of tracks.

Utilizing results from worldwide competitions, the 8IGHT-T 2.0 Race Roller includes a 50T center spur gear designed to provide the perfect gear ratio for truggy racing. Combined with the numerous advancements and updates to the vehicle overall, the result is an even more dominant performance on any track and in any condition.

A revised radio tray on the 8IGHT-T 2.0 Race Roller optimizes the position of the servos, while increasing response time and reducing stress on the throttle servo. This design also allows for increased precision from the throttle servo while reducing weight. The sure-close fuel tank ensures automatic, positive closure and prevents air from entering the fuel system.

All suspension arms on the 8IGHT-T 2.0 Race Roller have been extended a full 15mm for a wider, more stable base that maintains outstanding handling over any terrain. The extended width also allows for more stable entry into and exit from the corners, cutting valuable seconds off your lap times. Zero-Offset wheels were designed to keep the overall width within race guidelines while still offering incredible handling improvement. The 8IGHT-T 2.0 Race Roller also features an updated body design that increases air flow to the engine cooling head for improved engine performance.

Definately my first choice in bodies though...

That body is fugly! It looks like a semi cab mated with a sport compact and had a disfigured offspring.

rchippie 01.08.2009 01:44 PM

The body is different .

ssspconcepts 01.08.2009 02:01 PM

Maybe I missed it because I tend to skim thru things quickly...but doesn't it also have some new diffs?

lucias 01.08.2009 02:11 PM

I need one.. the body is weird but it will grow on you.. Pro line will make a good looking body..

So I have a question since I thinking about this.. I was thinking about buying a buggy to race with my truggy but after seeing this it makes me want a new 2.0 truggy.. the bigger the better for me.. would a losi 8t be about the same as a losi 8ight 2.0 if i put the buggy arms and tires on it? then could race my old truggy as a buggy and buy a new truggy.. I looked at the lengths on losi websites and I am still wondering... lol What do you think?

jayjay283 01.08.2009 03:43 PM

thats pretty cool, I was wondering about the 2.0 8T, its like the big brother of my V1. What about that flex chassis ? MOst people thought it wouldnt be so hot for brushless apps.... That is the ugliest truggy body I have seen to date, yeesh.... Lucias if you can fit a buggy body on it with the arms and tires whose to know lol

pedeboi364 01.08.2009 04:13 PM

i personally love the low bedded body... looks sweet, 2 bad i dont race

lucias 01.08.2009 05:44 PM

I don't race either but I have been to the race track and paid to enter and sat there for a hours for my race and tried to follow a race track with other drivers before.. I think you get my point, instead I put on a quality show of turning the 2 doubles into one jump with the powers of brushless!!

Semi Pro 01.08.2009 06:31 PM

thats a very strange rear shock tower for a truggy, and i have to say it but i think the body looks funny but cool at the same time

I have been looking at this truck all day trying to figure out what it looks like and I have finally figured it out.. It looks like a swamp buggy that I have watched on T.V.

Here is a link to some pictures I found..

SWEET Lid on that most excellent truggy !!!!!

Electric Dave 01.08.2009 07:33 PM

The body does remind me of some kind of cartoonish semi truck...

But what's underneath it sound very impressive.

anson 01.08.2009 07:34 PM

Glad I am not the only one that found that body strangely attractive.

I always wanted to go see them, maybe someday.

as far as the body being fugly, at least you won't feel bad about tearing it up on the track

bustitup 01.09.2009 12:19 AM

I like the inovation of the new style body........I dont think I would like it with a stink motor........looks prone to tear up the finned head real bad
