Wow that 45 mins away - I could collect for 379! I wonder what the quality is like...

i'd say the 2nd one is a knock off:wink:
|
For $ 379- it may me worth the risk to someone if the replacement parts form the real B5 will fit.

What are the chances those and the HPI's roll off the same production line just packaged differently? Kind of like VCR's, 95% of all the main "guts" were made by the same company, just put in different cases.
|
I have read "reviews" from people who supposively have both the HPI and the knockoffs, and they claim that they are very close in quality, and that HPI parts fit the knockoff.
I forget what parts specificly, but there was a line I read to the effect of.. ..."all you need to do is replace the _____ with the HPI one and there is no difference between the two that I can tell" but keep in mind.... ...these "reviews" are always written by people selling the product.... I contacted the seller in FL and asked about picking up the buggy to save on the $85 shipping costs, and he said "we're not set up for that" whatever that means. I assume he has them shipped to you direct from china then. |
Well in my opinion to buy that knoxk off for $500 after shipping...I would rather have the real 5b for $650.....its always going to have a better resale value
hey the guy might even go $600 right now |
generally you cant find them for 650 though.
and if there are only a few missing peices to make it a real 5b then why not? |
