CastleNue Motor screws??

hey guys i have questions about the castle motor combo, what are the 2 screws that came in the box ? are they motor screws? and if they are not, what size screws should i get ? because they are good for my tekno conversion mount for the revo they fit , but for TDracing mount for the LST2 they dont even reach the motor through the mount.
please guys help me out with this.

They're the motor screws. You can try M3x10mm for your LST2.

i measured the screws that came with the combo they are m3x5mm (measuring the diameter and the thread not the cap head) and i then measured the black front end cover found it to be around 4mm thick so im thinking an m3x8mm or m3x9mm would be sufficient to hold the motor. what do u think ?

Simply add the motor front end thickness (~4-5mm) and add in the thickness of whatever mount you are using.

Actually, I insert a really long screw into each hole and gently turn the screw in by hand until I feel resistance (the coil). Then, I back out a turn or two and then mark the screw threads where they go into the can. Repeat for the other 3 holes and use the shortest measurement.

Impossible. the screws wont hit anything. The motor is designed to protect the windings.

i`m going to try m3x12mm, because my mount is 7.5mm thick add 4-5mm for the front end cover 11.5-12.5mm screw will be required. and a guy that uses the same mount and motor told me he using m3x12mm they fit.
thanks for the info guys
