Slash Question

Is anyone using differential fluid? If so which weight works the best....just bashing.

With the brushless motor the slightest turn breaks the wheels loose.

Haha, I went right up to 100K in mine just for that reason! It's a bit too heavy though, as I have trouble turning sometimes. I'd say 50-70K would be better.

The "proper" thickness fluid will leak out unless you mod the diff to seal it. By "proper", I mean the right thickness for normal driving.

I posted this just before I read through the slash thread....read before you speak:oh:

Thanks guys!!!

Oh, I forgot to say I run Flat Irons on my Slash which are larger than stock. If your tires are stock size then I'd say 20-50K.

Do you have problems with the front tires rubbing the chassy?

What is the difference between the 50 and 60 series Medusa motors? I cant seem to find the info.

My tires will rub a bit when I land a jump, but not when I turn.

The 60mm Medusa is longer, and so can produce more torque. The 50/60mm are good for 1/10 scale, or 1/8 buggy. The 70/80mm are good for fast 1/8 buggy, or MT (1/10 or 1/8)
