Max RPM for Hacker motors

Would running 5s on a 9l be okay? It would be just around 50k rpm. Whats the max recommended rpm?

Thanks

Edit Just realized that its a 7L, would 65k be okay?

According to this PDF it sayd max 60k to 80k. http://www.rctoys.com/pdf/Hacker-motor-instructions.pdf

That seems like its pushing it to me. . .

This is in a CRT .5 BTW.

only way to know is to run it and check temps often. It'll spin that no problem, but the load, i.e. gearing will determine temps and whether the motor will last

I am guessing it is a b50? I would go with a lower kv motor for 5s use. Like a 13l. The rotors on the b50 motors are not wrapped so the magnet may come off!

As linc said, I wouldn't.

I'll just stick with the 4s packs then. It would be nice to have them interchangeable with my revo. . . The 7L on 4s is already a monster in the CRT .5 More power than you need at any speed.

Well I tried it on 5s today. Was a complete beast, but I think I was hitting the LVC with my 8k TrueRC pack. It never did that on my 10xl in my revo. Also my ESC was heating up considerably more. How many amps do you think that motor pulls?
