What are these for?

I bought a Hardcore Racing .21+ conversion chassis kit for my T-Maxx. It is brand new in the package but it had no instructions.
I've got almost everything figured out except for this package of stuff in the pic below that I have no clue about.
Anyone familiar with this kit and what these may be for?
Thanks.

it is hard to tell in the pic. One almost looks like for the brake end of a cvd. I am not sure on washers or spacers. The other two may be the bushings for a stock steering. Just a guess.

This part is threaded about 85% of the way through.

And the right side is flat and the left side has a slight taper to it.

it looks like a crank nut

JOHNNYMAXXIMA 12.18.2005 06:35 PM

The crank in the engine?

RC-Monster Mike 12.18.2005 09:12 PM

Those are clutch shims and screws and the clutch/flywheel nut(hold flywheel tight against the collet on the crank). The shims and spacer aren't necessarily needed, depending on what cltch bell you use.

Thanks Mike.
So why would I need the clutch/flywheel nut. Why would they include this in their kit? Doesn't the engine that I am going to use allready have this?
Thanks.

The engine you use may or may not have the needed parts. It is just a nice thing to incl;ude these little items. Nothing worse than spending a lot of $$ and witing for a $3 part to get it up and running. :)
