That cad program looks very realistic.

Metallover 01.23.2009 08:30 PM

NICE!!

That is pretty much how I'd make a perfect car... No nasty diff gears to worry about. If the belt holds up how I would imagine that would be great...

bdebde 01.23.2009 08:32 PM

What scale is that? Too bad it has flathead screws.

pedeboi364 01.23.2009 08:35 PM

my only complaints are the drivetrain (belts?!?!?!) and that remote... o, and what the muffins is up with all the flat-head hardware?!?!?

Only problem is that it has very limited room for other things on the chassis.:whip:

Neat way to package things, with battery and motor (heaviest components) mounted central to the chassis. Being a concept, hardware appearance is a non-issue. I would imagine that what you gain from 4-wheel steering around corners, you loose down the straights trying to manage traction and keep a straight line. Plus, the lack of a center diff would pose jumping/rough track issues as well.

For 4 wheel steer a 400oz. servo?

Semi Pro 01.24.2009 12:23 AM

looks neat, but the stearing looks like it would have alot of play useing that many links

Very cool. What pitch/width belts do they use?
