Gorilla Maxx Single speed conversion

Does anybody know anything about the Gorillamaxx single speed conversion. Are they any good? When will they be in stock?

For the nitro and electric. They save money and weight alike. You will have continuous engagement to the 2nd speed, no first speed. Your output shaft must go through some modification befor you can use it in the single speed tranny.

Captin your almost right in your description. Yes you are locked in 2nd gear. But you dont have to modify the output shaft, you have to modify the INPUT shaft. The directions are included in the kit. You loose almost 2oz of rotating weight, plus the conversion strenghtens your hole tranny, because of the aluminum back plate.

and its also for electric only. no nitro.

My only concern now is it being locked in 2nd. I have a 9920 esc and a wanderer 9xl. I'll probably run 14 or 16 cells. Will this setup be good with the single speed.

I used to run titans on second gear so yeah it will be ok

with the torque of a 9xl you wont need 1st gear at all.
