Muggy mods
4 Attachment(s)
Thought I'd share a couple of improvements I've made to my BL Muggy. First is the back brace - see pics of the lexan template. Goes between the bulkheads and the shock towers, replacing the factory aluminum plates. It totally eliminates the excessive chassis twist that is the bane of all Muggy owners.
Second, with a few minor tweaks, I've made an 8ight body fit really well. I think it looks awesome, the pics don't really do it justice with the body unpainted and unfortunately my LHS was out of black paint today. The wife is more certain than ever that I've completely lost it but I know you guys will appreciate all the changes. |
That is crazy looking, awesome job with the buggy body on there.

Looks nice.
You should also upgrade the steering link and replace it with a jato turnbuckle. And if you haven't already, also replace the bushings in the steering assembly with bearings. These upgrades take away the steering slop. I'm having an e-muggy chassis made with no holes in it to let any dirt through. Should also eliminate chassis flex. |
