This can`t be good
MMM 2650 combo in a E-revo
Is this dude going to end with toasty lipo batteries or MMM combo? Also he`s claiming 50 mph "full charged" |
thats fine if he gears right.
|
Well I`m thinking he might not be to knowledgeable about his gear.First sign of this is he`s using the stock Traxxas TQ radio & the emphasizes of 65 mph in the description.

It`ll be kinda a bummer if something goes wrong & the Castle creation warranty will be void :rules:
|
I guess the 2650 in the revo is unacceptable...
BUT the Novak gtb in a savage....:surprised: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mclMQ...eature=related |

The problem with some people is that they take these before thinking up vehicle & power system combos:

^^^So that's what they give out on the TRX forums^^^

If a 60mm Medusa can survive in a E-REVO I'm sure a 1512 sized motor can as well. 2650kv if it's geared right, 40MPH max, shouldn't be to bad

It wouldn't be my first choice of systems, but that setup is probably not as bad as you think it would be. First of all, it's 2WD, which is easier on any setup. Second, he's using the 2 speed tranny, that'll reduce the load at start up load yet allow for higher speeds in second gear. |
The first BL E-Maxx I ever saw was sporting a Feigao 9L on 14 cells NiMH, that CC motor is a heck of a lot more powerful and in a lighter RC (assuming it isn't very upgraded other than the motor). There's nothing wrong with running a 60mm or 1512 in an E-Revo, the 1515 and 70mm motors are just more insane.

Wow. Another victim of the Traxxas forums. That E-Revo was zippy, but I doubt 65mph.That old guy seemed to know more than them!
