It"s is the eoso606i ac/dc charger.Sorry no pics camera does not work. When you look
at the balanceing plug from the inside you will see the numbers 1-6 on the board. On the green curcuit board you can see the brass conection were it burn off.I try to soldering it back very slowly,it held.I can charge the batt but cant balance it.I can plug in the battery and then the balancing plug and it will show al of the voltage for each cell. But when i press the button to charge ,it gives of a beeping and it said open curcuit problem. When i unplug the balanceing wire and then press charge it will charge but wont balance.I dont see any thing that is burned any were but were i fix it. |
Hmm, sounds like the batt is ok, must be something burned out in the charger. Try contacting All E Rc, I rencently bought a hyperion charger from them and they seem like a really good establishment.

If the charger still charges, just don't use the internal balancer and get an external one instead. Probably be easier and cheaper in the long run.
I liken a charger/balancer combo to a DVD/TV combo (or the older VCR/TV combos). A combo works great and is convenient....until the DVD player breaks, and then you're stuck using the combo as a TV only and have to use an external DVD player. |

Personally I would investigate the possibility of having it reapired. If it is less than a 40 buck fix it is cheaper than buying a lba 10 external balancer. An if you are savvy, you may get it fixed free... |
Yes, obviously getting it fixed is preferable. But if it's gonna take forever for shippin both ways and repair and/or cost an arm and a leg (for shipping and repair), then I'd just do what I could to get it working.
BTW: Warranty repair (if even possible) might cost more if they see that the user tried to fix it already. |
