T-maxx conversion time??

lucias 02.03.2009 06:58 PM

Has anyone used or seen one of these work?

BrianG 02.03.2009 07:05 PM

lol, that's kind of a neat idea. Good for people who want to do nothing but bolt-ons. I can see that being heavier than a typical mount though, not to mention no motor brakes/reverse due to the clutch...

pedeboi364 02.03.2009 07:35 PM

^^^thats why i have all the extra weight on my Maxx!!

BL_RV0 02.03.2009 08:39 PM

I like it.

jhautz 02.04.2009 12:00 AM

Cool idea, but where do the batteries go???

BL_RV0 02.04.2009 12:02 AM

Behind the steering servo I guess. Not very balanced, and the pack would have to be damn small.

This is where one of those 16s plane ESCs comes into play. But it would require a creative mind to get a pair of big packs in there.

BL_RV0 02.04.2009 12:45 AM

I think i've got one of those, or maybe I sold it on ebay last week, can't remember...
Found the auction!

Pretty sweet product.... very slick esp if it's well built and reliable. Sure looks the part

Dagger Thrasher 02.04.2009 12:49 PM

Cool! I never really thought much of "Hot Racing", but they definitely deserve brownie points there...simply for great lateral thinking lol.

_paralyzed_ 02.04.2009 01:04 PM

that's f'in cool. I have a couple t-maxxes that could use that part. wonder what the reduction is?
