Project X- Gain weight!
So some of us need to gain some weight. I am on this team.
Current stats: 5'10" 152lbs in the morning 10%ish bf 26 yrs old (27 in a month) up 10 pounds from 4 months ago. What I am doing to gain- 3500 kcals/day, at least 200gm protein. split: M- Clean and J, Deadlift, Row, T- MMA W- Squat, Bench, Row Th- MMA F- Clean, Squat, Bench, ancillary sat-off sun- off I would gladly take 10 more pounds in 4 months. My goal is 185 at 8% bf. No certain time constraint. |
I'm like 5-9 and normally about 165-170..... could race you to 185, if the "BF" doesn't matter. :)
Can't wait until the wifey asks me why we have a freezer full of ice cream lol |
Hmm, is there a "PIF" I can do to donate some of mine?
|
Haha, "lipo" suction.........

172lbs
6' 3" 19y.o. (almost 20) Want to make it to 185lbs. It's tough because the gym I go to is on campus (UCI) and it would be a 20min drive just to get to the gym if I don't have class. As a result I only go when I have class and when it is convenient. It's been 2 days a week for the last 3 weeks, and of course it's midterm time right now (plus regular homework) so my time to work out is lessened. Ideally, if I get my homework/studying on track I would do 3days/week lifting/muscle strengthening and 3days/week aerobic (running or mtn. biking). |
wow I remember the days of trying to gain weight. I think I was about 25 and was 165lb wanted to go to 180lbs. I started eating a lot more and well made the 180lb and stayed there for awhile. Then naturally my body changed and well next thing I knew I was about 205lbs at 30yrs old.
Now at almost 32yrs old I cut stuff out just to stay in the 190's. No time to work out. Work bad hours. Have a little one to keep up with when I am not working. Man it sucks getting old. Oh so put me down for the same as Brian. I think I got 10lbs you can have. :) |
I have gained 10lbs in 4 months without eating special or working out too much. I think my metabolic rate has finally started to slow down, and I am welcoming this (for now).
